Partner: Become a Community Friend

Become a Friend of South Carolina SRTS program and join the South Carolina Safe Routes to School community. Your organization can sign on to support local schools or the program at a regional or state level.

Examples of ways that Friends of South Carolina SRTS can demonstrate support for the program include:

  • A statement of support and link to the SC SRTS program on their website
  • Joint promotion activities
  • Provide exhibit space at no cost at their conferences
  • Include SRTS as an agenda topic at a conference or large meeting
  • Serve as a team member on a school SRTS team
  • Provide in-kind staff or tangible resources to the local school program (i.e. grocery store providing bananas for WTS Day)
